Screenway selects Hansa Financials to provide integrated business management
Integrated software achieves time saving of two to three days per month
Irish computer sales and services company, Screenway Ltd, has implemented Hansa Financials — a suite of fully integrated financials, CRM and business management software modules — in an order valued in the region of €30,000. The software from Hansa Business Solutions runs on Apple’s next-generation Mac OS X operating platform.
Sreenway, an authorised Apple dealer based in Galway, has implemented Hansa Financials to achieve improved speed and flexibility of business information. Hansa uses a single underlying database and application language that enables Screenway to take advantage of true integration between the various business management modules, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of real-time information.
Maureen Casey, Managing Director of Screenway, explains, “Hansa Financials provides us with a free flow of data across all aspects of the business which enables us to be far more efficient in the way we operate from financial management through to our marketing efforts. We are now easily able to track a sales opportunity from initial contact right through the order process to completion of sale, providing better customer service as well as greater visibility of job costs and profitability."
As a result of the CRM module, Screenway has also been able to compile all of its customer and prospect data to enable it to undertake more pro-active and targeted marketing campaigns.
Casey continues, “It is a very easy system to use with excellent functionality and reporting capabilities. We have been able to save about two to three days a month by automating processes and eliminating the need to re-key data into disparate systems. When we went to the market to look for a new system, we were also keen to embrace the latest Mac OS X operating platform and Hansa Financials was the only solution available in this price category that could offer the level of functionality that we were looking for on this platform."
In addition, the functionality of Hansa offers email and e-commerce capabilities that will enable Screenway to extend the benefits of the product as it continues to expand its business activities. It is currently in the early stages of implementing the webshop and corporate portal modules, which will enable the company to offer customers online ordering facilities, while automating the generation of sales orders, invoices and delivery notes.
